Frequently asked questions
Our MOQ is among the lowest available for rotogravure, and the figure changes with the format, size and material structure. Send us your pack specification and we will quote the MOQ that applies to that combination — usually well below what you would expect for rotogravure.
For a new design the clock starts once the artwork is approved, because the gravure cylinders have to be engraved first. For a repeat order on the same design the cylinders already exist, so it is much faster. Contract orders are scheduled in advance, so the delivery date is fixed.
Yes — this is what we mean by our colour guarantee. The colour you approve on the proof becomes the reference we keep on file, and every subsequent run is measured against that reference rather than against an operator's memory.
Yes. Our in-house design team works from concept through to print-ready files, including colour separation and dieline adjustment. If you already have a design from another designer, we can also prepare it for rotogravure production.
Send a vector file — AI, EPS or PDF — with all text outlined and any images placed at a minimum of 300 dpi at final print size. Use CMYK colour mode and mark any spot colours separately.
